The Synology DS224+ is a compact and energy-efficient Network Attached Storage (NAS) device designed for small teams to centralise data management. It offers secure and easy access to data from anywhere - multi-platform file access - real-time collaboration - and data protection features such as snapshot technology and Btrfs file system.With two drive bays and support for 3.5" SATA HDD and 2.5" SATA SSD and an Intel Celeron processor - 2 GB DDR4 non-ECC memory - two 1GbE RJ-45 port - and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. The device runs on Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) - which offers features such as file services - storage management - and account and shared folder management. The device comes with a 2-year hardware warranty - which can be extended up to 4 years with Extended Warranty Plus.
