AppleCare for Education enhances the experience for end users while easing the burden on local IT help desks, particularly in large-scale deployments. It offers 24/7 unlimited technical support over the phone, ensuring students, parents, teachers, and lecturers receive expert assistance from specialists who know Apple products, apps, and platforms best.
The service extends support to personal Apple devices and provides assistance in local languages during business hours. AppleCare for Education includes priority onsite support for hardware issues, with device repair or replacement as fast as the next business day.
Support for IT
AppleCare for Education is also tailored to support IT departments. It includes AppleCare Helpdesk, offering unlimited phone-in technical support for hardware and software diagnostics, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Apple-based solutions like Apple School Manager, iCloud, and native apps.
For more advanced challenges, AppleCare for Education provides schools with one free incident of IT-level support per year. This service covers complex scenarios such as cross-platform deployments and integrations, including Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Active Directory setup.
Hardware Coverage
AppleCare for Education extends your device warranty to include accidental and cosmetic damage at no extra cost throughout the agreement. Repairs use genuine Apple parts, with replacements available as quickly as the next business day. Service is accessible via Apple Retail Stores or over 5,000 Apple Authorised Service Providers such as KRCS worldwide, ensuring high-quality, reliable fixes.

Service Pool Options
Schools can maintain a replacement device pool:
- Service Pool: 5% of covered iPads.
- Service Pool+: 10% of covered iPads.

Tiered Options
Apple Care for Enterprise comes in three tiers. Given the phased approach to school deployments, we can work with you in exploring your tiered options to find the best pricing solution for your deployment.
Deployments of just 50 devices, and a mix of iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Reduced pricing for deployments of 1,000 devices or more.
Reduced pricing for deployments of 5,000 devices or more and the option to scale the deployment over time.
